Explore the Beauty of Pineda De Mar

Pineda de Mar is a beautiful little resort town that sits on the Costa Brava. It is not as popular as the other resorts, and as a result it attracts people who are looking for a quiet relaxing holiday, such as couples and families. So if you want a holiday away from the hustle and bustle of Spain's tourist centers then you may want to visit this town.

Pineda de Mar is home to a long white sandy beach, it is roughly 2 miles in length and 40 metres in width. It is quite a large beach, and you will always be able to find some free space, even at the peak of the holiday season. The water on this beach is really clean, so you don't need to worry about pollution. In fact the beach has been awarded a blue flag to reflect this. The climate here is also really nice, just like it is throughout the Costa Brava, with the average summer temperature hovering around 25C.

If you are someone who appreciates nature then you should head to Montnegre National Park, you can either walk or cycle through this vast park, enjoying the beautiful natural scenery of your surroundings. Pineda de Mar is also home to several places of interest including an ancient Roman Aqueduct, and the ruins of the ancient Montpalau castle. These two building in particular are hundreds of years old.

You won't find any clubs in this town, however there are quite a few bars, and they are a great place to visit for a good night out. You may want to start the evening off with a trip to one of Pineda de Mars many fine restaurants, and then move on to a bar afterwards.
